Shri Lalita Devi
Shakti Peedam
The Sacred Confluence of
Mother Lalita Tripurasundari at Holy Triveni Sangam

THE SACRED STORY OF SHRI LALITA DEVI
In the celestial cosmic history, when Lord Shiva performed the cosmic Tandava carrying Devi Sati, Lord Vishnu operated the Sudarshana Chakra to sanctify the sacred land of Bharat across 51 points.
The Sacred Fingers / Hands (Anguli) of Mother Sati consecrated the supreme holy king of all tirthas, Prayagraj, where the holy Ganga, Yamuna, and mystical Saraswati merge in the sacred Triveni Sangam.
Manifesting as Mother Lalita Tripurasundari and guarded by Lord Bhava Bhairava, this holy peedam grants the supreme fruit of all pilgrimages, dissolves karmic burdens, and bestows boundless spiritual bliss and liberation.
When Lord Shiva traversed the cosmos bearing Devi Sati, Lord Vishnu's Sudarshana Chakra released the sacred limbs across 51 holy Peedams.
Mother Sati's Sacred Fingers (Anguli) consecrated holy Prayagraj at the Triveni Sangam. Presided by Mother Lalita Devi and Lord Bhava Bhairava, She grants the supreme merit of all pilgrimages and eternal liberation.
